VOTE NO on PROPOSITION A

I am a teacher and I can't see one positive quality of this Proposition. Additionally I am taken back with Proposition A supporters leading the public to believe that all teachers are in support for "A". Please keep in mind that not 1 of the 3 professional teaching organizations in this state have endorsed this Proposition.

I believe good minded Missourians will see through the hype about additional funding to schools and the claims that this proposition will financially be a savior to Missouri Public Schools. This Proposition is all about the Casino Gambling Industry in this state. It is about solidifying their position and holdings in our state. It is solely about raising their profits and it absolutely has nothing to do with your Kids, your Schools, or your Teachers.

As I continue to see the pro Prop A ads on TV I feel disappointment that professionals in public education an are behind such a disaster. Not just your average school teachers but teachers that have been recognized and awarded for their seemingly dedication to their profession. These teachers shown in the Ads should be ashamed of themselves for selling your children out for a lousy 1%. That's right 1%! Casinos want you to do away with the $500 loss limit, they want you to freeze the construction of new casinos from ever being built, and they want you to allow them to lax their identification checks to only establish an individual's age. In return they offer you a lousy 1%.

Shame, Shame, Shame... if you are as appalled as I am about "your" teachers, selling out "your" children, you can get their names right off the TV commercials. http://www.yesforschoolsfirst.com/TV/Video_7.wmv. If you are interested in knowing if teachers in your school district are publicly doing the same(selling out your children),you can check out this link and see for yourself. There are a bunch of them. http://www.yesforschoolsfirst.com/who.php#Teachers. You can ask them why they feel the need to exploit your children for a very small portion of a lousy 1%.

In the long run what is there to gain for us? What is there to lose? If you need help with this decision then check out http://www.nopropa.com/web.htm

Btw both the Democratic and Republican Candidates for Missouri Governor are opposed to Proposition A.

Vote your conscience. Mine tells me to vote NO.
